1962 Studebaker GT Hawk

This ’62 Studebaker GT Hawk is beautifully restored!  289 Studebaker Hawk V-8 4 barrel, 4 speed transmission, dual exhaust, Twin-Traction rear axle, Power Steering, Power Brakes, AM Radio, Tachometer, Bucket Seats,  Radial Whitewalls, Studebaker Seat Belts, and deck mounted accessory antenna!  Lovely and runs great! Beautiful paint, excellent chrome & stainless, many NOS trim pieces make this car a sparkler!  The former owner spent a lot of time and money to make it the best!

Nice & straight.  This was a glass-out, trim off effort, and it shows!

Great from any angle! The ’62 Gran Turismo Hawk was Studebaker’s top of the line car that year, and this one benefits from the 289 4 barrel and 4 speed transmission!

289 V-8 with 4 barrel, the hottest thing available in ’62.  Note the power steering, power brake booster, and spin on oil filter.

The engine number is P87XXX , which is correct for ’62 Hawk, and is very likely the original engine.  I’ll know for sure when I get the Studebaker museum build sheet.
