This Jaguar XK-150 S Roadster is a rust free Matching Numbers California Car, with factory Triple Carburetors and high performance cylinder head, overdrive, chrome wire wheels and a restoration that is breathtaking in it’s quality!

Looks like a brand new Jaguar!

Engine rebuilt by the famous Jaguar and Cord expert, Henry Portz.  Chrome by Christensen. Paint and bodywork by Tom’s.  Nothing but the highest and best quality work.

It has been completely and beautifully restored, with trophies to match!

The interior looks as though you just walked into Peter Satori’s showroom in 1959 – because that was the selling dealership!  The current owner bought this car in the early 1980’s from the Original owner’s son, a local doctor.

The interior is spectacular! Soft, new leather, thick wool cut pile carpeting.  The right combination of sportiness and luxury!  The XK-150 was the first Jaguar Roadster to feature roll-up windows.

Restored instruments make a brilliant showing in the restored dashboard.

When this car was purchased back in the 1980’s from the original family, it was an extremely well preserved rust free original car, with original paint and in very good condition.  The mileage might be the original, but we can’t guarantee it.

Beautifully restored top bows

Beautiful new top – including the chrome spear at the upper rear edge, a detail often missing on other Jaguar XK-150’s.

Beautifully trimmed in the rear top stowage compartment also!

Absolutely delightful!

Henry Portz did a fabulous job on the engine. It is the original engine, with the correct numbers matching original engine block and cylinder head, the free-flowing “S” cylinder head.

Here’s the original cylinder head number, which matches the engine number.  The engine Number, which we verified, is VS1186-9.  Note the gold color of the cylinder head which signifies the “S” free flowing head.

Lovely porcelainized exhaust manifolds.

the “S” model had THREE S.U. carburetors, as opposed to the regular version, which only had TWO.

Every detail in order and in place.  Note the new, correct wiring harness to keep those Lucas Electrons flowing in the proper direction!

Every fin on that radiator is straight!

Underside of the hood as nice as the top of the hood!

Everywhere you look, delightful details.

Let’s look inside the beautiful trunk.  Note the California black license plate – the last time it was registered was 1984!  The title is current and clear.  We have old registration slips dating back to the 1970’s, showing the original owner’s son.  Also note the bronze hammer, the knock-off protector, and the tool roll, which we’ll open in a couple of photos.

Here are those old registration slips. Note in the upper right hand c0rner, they show the license plate number JPJ 403.

Here is the tool kit

Note the lovely wire wheel spare, the jack, and lube gun attached to the bottom of the trunk floor

Another view of the spare tire well.

Service Manual is included.

pretty underneath, too, with proper cad plating contrasting with the black undercarriage.

Dunlop disc brakes.

Note the Stainless Steel Exhaust.

.

The car is totally rust free – it’s been in California all it’s life, and had excellent care.  It was so good, there was no need to remove the body when it was restored!

Beautiful and rust free floors and rocker panels.

Here’s the rear inner fenderwell – the detail on this car is spectacular!
