Wow! Here is a beautifully crafted ’55 Chevy show / drag car, done in the style of the old time gassers, but with extremely high modern build quality!

this shot shows many of the subtle details that make this a great car – the carefully widened and radiused rear wheel opening, the super detailed undercarriage, and the Hilborn Mechanical injector stacks above the fenderline!

The detail work on this car is extremely impressive.

The paint & bodywork are incredibly nice, of the highest quality. It’s a combination of Pearl Pink and white, just perfect for the 50’s hot rod theme!

The work required to detail this 350 Chevy with high performance 1.94 Camel hump cylinder heads is amazing!  It’s ready for show now! UNFORTUNATELY, IT’S NOT READY FOR GO, THE ENGINE HAS DEVELOPED A LOUD KNOCK.  IT’S BEING SOLD AS A NON-RUNNER.

The polished aluminum tank on the passenger fenderwell is the idle / return circuit for the fuel injection system. The polished tank on the driver’s side is the coolant overflow tank.  The engine is a 350, with a Turbo 350 Transmission.

I find myself walking through the shop and just staring at the engine, and marvelling at the workmanship. You’ll note the fenderwells and firewall are nicely finished too! The engine SOUNDS incredible, revving it up is a thrill.  It’s a mechanical fuel injection system, – it will idle, – sort of –  but it prefers higher RPM.  It’s a grocery getter as long as your grocery store is close by !

The paint job is incredibly nice, highest quality work.   You should note the car does not have a hood or front bumper or side windows in the doors – that’s by design, again, in tribute to the gasser cars of the 50’s and 60’s.

Let’s open the door and get in.  Notice how nicely the doorjambs and sills are finished.  Highest quality throughout!

Excellent velour seats, done like they would have been back in the day.  Obligatory fussy dice, and  Don Garlits Tachometer.
