A beautiful car!

That black license plate has been on the car since the early 1960’s, when the black plate was introduced!

Nice Chrome Bumpers!
.
I love the front bumper design!
.
Beautiful straight body panels and doors that fit and operate nicely
.
Beautifully done smallblock Chevy – note the factory style shorty headers, aluminum manifold, and quadrajet carburetor.
.
the engine bay is clean and detailed !
.
Runs great and looks great!
.
The interior is just beautiful, done in correct looking fabric, and trimmed properly. The dashboard is a beautiful original, with subtle upgrades to the guages and radio.
.
Look how nice this is!
.
Here’s the center of the dash, with tachometer where the clock used to be, a very nice AM/FM stereo, and oil pressure and temperature guages. This car has been upgraded to 12 volt system, and it all works – lights, turn signals, gauges, radio, etc. The former owner did a great job on all of the detail work to make this a fully functional and operable car!
.
Nice Doorpanel – high quality work throughout.
.
Very high quality interior
.
Nice!
.
Beautiful headliner and visors!
.
The former owner purchased this car in ’74. We can see on this registration from the earlier owner, Pete Parker, that this car had this license plate, FSK 815, back then. The other old registration is from 1960, with the pre-1963 license plate. The story is that Pete Parker was the original owner, but I don’t have paperwork that far back to prove it.
.
Nice and solid underneath
.
It’s really solid underneath – nice original floors with original undercoating. Note the recent exhausts and glasspack mufflers
.
Nice
.
Excellent solid original rocker panels
.
Beautiful Mercury trunk emblem!
.
Excellent chrome, although a couple of dings in the tailight surround, also on the hood chrome.
.
Some teeny bubbles on the rocker left side
.
there are a few blemishes or touch-ups in the paint, notably this section where a fenderskirt might have been
.
And an area on the door below the vent window, looks like maybe rubbed through. It’s a nice, older paint job with a few flaws. Looks shiny but if you had it judged it would miss a couple of points for paint.
.
A great looking, great running car!
.
Nice!
.
I really like this car and I think if you buy it you will too!
