This 1941 Cadillac Series 62 Coupe is a beautiful car, with a fresh, high quality paint job in the original colors, high quality chrome plating. It runs great, looks great, and is a great car for CCCA events, tours and shows. Offered by the Vault Classic Cars, Fullerton, California. 714-401-1047
.
It’s stock and authentic, with the 346 cubic inch Cadillac flathead V-8, and a 3 speed manual transmission. It drives beautifully, and has lots of power.
.
Very straight, and excellent panel fit. This car was a glass-out, all body panels removed effort, we have photo documentation of the restoration work.
.
Great side view, and a reminder of the reason ’41 Cadillacs are so popular – great styling combined with a more modern driving experience, capable of freeway speeds.
.
The Fenderskirts with emblems are a great touch. All the emblems on this car are new.
.
Here’s the trunk emblem
.
And the fenderskirt emblem!
.
The chrome is all done and all fresh – by the experts at Sihilling metal finishing. This is always a difficult piece on ’41 Cadillacs, and these are beautifully done.
.
Excellent!
.
The interior is very nice, with seats done in the correct pattern, and a correct looking modern fabric.
.
Nicely trimmed!
.
Very nice rear compartment. The vents show a trunk mounted A/C unit, but there is no sign of a compressor underhood. So you have the beginnings of an A/C unit if you want to continue the project.
.
Good sunvisors and Guide day/night mirror
.
The dashboard is nice but not freshly redone.
.
Here’s another view of the dashboard. Gauges work except for the amp meter, and the temp guage is an added mechanical unit.
.
This grille is mind-boggling! It’s straight and does not have any pits, the quality of the work here is amazingly good!
.
The seats are excellent, but the carpeting shows a bit of age and use.
.
Nice doorpanels
.
Nice!
.
Stock and authentic Flathead Cadillac V-8. Runs great, lots of power, nice and smooth.
.
A great running car
.
Fan belts and radiator
.
This view shows the radiator shutters – that work when the coolant temperature is warmed up. Cadillac had these external shutters instead of an internal thermostat. Nice to see them working!
.
The car was rewired, using a combination of original style and modern wiring components.
.
It’s really pretty!
.
Wow!
