1939 was a great year for Packard – the factory overdrive was introduced that year, which was a game changer for high speed touring. It was the final year of refinement for the 320 Cubic inch straight 8, with dual downdraft Stromberg carburetor, and 130 Horsepower. The extensive use of Plastic in the dashboard was maximized in ’39, and this car has a spectacular restored dashboard.

The grille shutters alternated between chrome and body color in 1939. These grille shutters & thermostat work properly.
