It has the pre-eminent V-12 Engine for Lincoln, the 450 Cubic inch V-12, with fork & Blade connecting rods, and serial number matching the firewall tag. This big V-12 was only built by Lincoln for 2 years, 1932 and 1933, and was so expensive to build that in 1934 it was shelved for a smaller V-12. Among Prewar Lincoln enthusiasts, the ’32 and ’33 KB V-12 has always been the most desirable by far. It has enough power to challenge a Packard 12, or even a Duesenberg! The driving experience is superior, with smooth clutch, easy shifting, the synchromesh transmission feels great, and excellent vacuum assisted brakes. It’s comfortable at freeway speeds, and excels climbing hills! This car is a CCCA Car-a-van veteran, and is ready for enjoyment now!
It won Classic Car Club of America Senior badge #2404 in 2001 with 97.5 points. The current owner has had it since the 1990’s. Back in the 1970’s and 1980’s, Lyle Finley owned the car. His restorer, Dick Towers, took it on the 1982 CCCA Pacific Northwest Caravan. At the time, the paint was still the original!
The paint is super high quality Fran Roxas work, the doors fit and close wonderfully, and it’s delightful to drive and operate!
The interior is the original whipcord cloth, and in excellent condition! The top leather is mostly original, and in very good shape.

The 448 Cubic inch V-12 – a mighty beast! Big Stromberg dual throat downdraft carburetor feeds through porcelainized manifolds.
The passenger side has the accessory power take-offs from the cam chain, including fuel pump, generator and water pump. The fan belt runs only the fan!
The finish and detail of this engine are beautiful!
When the original owner paid $5,000 for this car in ’33, he got a sumptuous and luxurious cabin, with full instrumentation, a woodgrained dashboard, and comfortable seats in wool whipcord cloth. This is the actual original interior, giving a window into how nicely this car has been taken care of.
