This 1963 Chrysler 300 Sport is LOADED with options, including Factory A/C, Power windows, Power 4 way seat, power brakes, power steering, AM radio, 383 V-8, torqueflite pushbutton transmission, and more!

This was Virgil Exner’s final design at Chrysler – the swan song of the forward look!

I love all the Chrysler 300 special details, like this beautiful emblem.

This car is a western car, totally rust free!

Super straight body panels, no rust, and a nice paint job in the original color of Alabaster, a very pleasing shade of off-white.

There is an interesting view from every angle!  Note the near-new tires with really thick tread!

The styling brilliance of Virgil Exner is on full display here – a SQUARE steering wheel!  how cool is that?  The dashboard looks like a rocketship control panel.  It is delightful to operate this car while being entertained by the beauty of the dash!  All those gauges work perfectly, and so does the AM radio.

All of the interior chrome plating – and there is a LOT of chrome plating – is in excellent, brilliant, pit-free condition. The steering wheel is very good, but it does have a couple of cracks, there are also 2 cracks in the dashpad.

The interior was redone in the factory red, using correct, original factory fabric  from SMS interior fabrics, the well known collector automobile fabric supplier.

Look at the beautiful headliner – the faux convertible ribs in gleaming chrome.

Nice!

Excellent doorpanel and doorjamb

Here’s the driver’s doorpanel – it’s a little bit warped at the very bottom, but otherwise in great shape!

The dashboard is a masterpiece, both in original design and in it’s current beautiful condition!

Here’s the big 383 V-8, with 305 horsepower!  Note the factory A/C.  It’s not cold right now – it’s been upgraded to R-134 refrigerant.  The engine runs great, and the car operates like it should, it’s a nice, solid driving car!

Nicely finished under the hood, too!

There is nothing like a big block Chrysler!  They are so solid, so nice, so effortlessly powerful.

Here’s the trim tag, showing body type 822 – for Chrysler 300 Sport – Trim 225, for Red interior, and Paint MM1, for Alabaster white.

The great thing about a western car – pit-free chrome!  This is the remote rear view mirror.

The bumpers are  not quite as bright as the rest of the chrome, and the rear bumper has this ding in it.

There’s a car that is ready to enjoy now!
